Sweeter Than Honey
"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb." Psalm 19:7-10
Well, it is Saturday once again and even the the last day of the month. I can not believe how fast the week has past and even half the year is past already. I can honestly say that all week long my head seemed to be pretty much cluttered with opposition. Nothing went right at all and it seemed that I was a disappointment to everyone around me. I felt as if I was being punished for things, what I have no idea for a change, but I sure felt that way. I went from a very positive, uplifting week last week to a negative, mind draining week this week. I could feel my spirit and my flesh fighting, one side of me was feeling happy and saying "God is great and I can do anything through Him!" and the other side of me was feeling unhappy saying "I am such a let down to God and nothing I do is good enough!" I know it was satan getting to me and that was the most aggravating part.
Have you ever felt that no matter what you did nothing was right and that you were a disappointment everyone?
Satan sure has a way of making us feel that way, he finds the smallest thing bothering or tempting us and uses every trick to make us fall into that trap. He fills our head with these crazy thoughts to mess with us and make us think that God does not love us or even worse he tries to make us think that His words are not true. He sends us these temptations to try and make us do wrong and to think that because we have done wrong that God will leave us and take back His word to give us eternal life.
I am so glad that we have a loving God that knows that we are stronger than satan's tricks. He might get our minds confused for a little while, but God's Spirit that lives inside us is so much stronger than anything that satan throws our way. The more we praise God and talk to Him no matter what we are going through the stronger His Spirit gets inside us, making us more powerful to fight those negative thoughts that satan plagues our flesh with.
This morning I was singing this song (psalm) as I was cleaning, I am sure that was what gave me the motivation to keep going and it also turned my negative thoughts to positive thoughts. So, when you are having a rough day or week and nothing seems to be going right, know that God is with you and loves you and that all these thoughts are just satan trying to make you fall for his tricks. Do not let him come up here and laugh at you saying "I got you now! Ha, ha, ha, ha!" Knock him back down by singing God's Praises.
Sing the Song and watch your Spirit be lifted and your mood enlightening:
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Hello My Friend,
A Good & Blessful Saturday to you!
"For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me".....Psalm 31:3
In Today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Psalms, chapters 31 -- 35. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2031-35&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of David's trust in God, the blessedness of forgiveness, how the Lord hears the righteous, and of David's prayer for safety.
What a privilege we have to join with David and the multitudes since his time, saying: "Blessed is he whose transgression (disobedience) is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah " (Psalm 34:1-4)
"I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah." (Psalm 34:5-7).
Praise in our worship services, at mealtime, and during daily devotions is good and right and fills our hearts with joy. But, the psalmist went beyond the expected times of worship and praise because he was continually expressing love and devotion to the Lord. He wrote: "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. My tongue shall speak of Thy righteousness and of Thy praise all the day long" (35:28).
We are expected to praise the Lord even when everything seems to go wrong, since we know that "many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all" (34:19). And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28).
Even the most unjust and cruel things which we experience, whether deserved or not, become part of the process by which the Lord is transforming our lives. David had similar experiences which God used to make him a man after His own heart. "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will." (Acts 13:22) "But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart," (I Samuel 13:14).
David suffered numerous injustices at the hands of enemies of God. He could have become bitter. Instead, he declared: "But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me" (Psalm 31:14-15).
All opposition, sufferings, and disappointments become opportunities for us to react in such a way that, little by little, our Lord and Savior is able to produce in us His own character. Only by yielding our lives to God will we find the assurance, peace, and security we long for. And not only will we recieve all of those things, but many blessings beyond our dreams. We become stronger, wiser, happier, healthier, the list goes on and on.
Often, we may not feel like praising God, this is an attack on satan, he wants us to lose control, follow our fleshly emotions and desires and fall away from God. We overcome him as David did, we must "Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart." (Psalm 32:11) for "His Kingdom ruleth over all" (103:19).
Regardless of circumstances, David said: "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad." (Psalm 34:1-2).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another beautiful day. I know that it is beautiful because I am alive and I see all the things you have blessed me with around me. Thank you for the food I eat, the water I drink, and the air that I breathe. Thank you for my family, my life, even the hard times of my life. without them You would not have made me the person I am today.
Lord, I know there are times even in the present when things do not go right and I lose my focus for a while. Instead of drawing closer to You I have drifted away from You. I get angry or upset with something that is going on and follow my own thoughts and emotions. Forgive me, Lord. I know I can not change things or get through things without You.
Lord, I have learned that this is an attack on satan to get me to fall away from You. I also learned that at times You will afflict me with sorrow in order for me to draw closer to You. It is during those times that satan has more control on me, but he also knows that I am strong and that my faith in You is strong because he would not be trying so hard.
Walk with me, Lord, give in me the strength and a joyful, positive heart that always praises You no matter what I am going through. As long as You are with me satan can not afflict me with his mind games. Lead me away from the mental and physical emotions that cause me to sin and lose you in my presence.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know, bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others. Bless those who do not know You and those who refuse to know you, this too is satan controlling them. May they break free from his mind games and learn of the many blessings in store for them through You.
Bless our nations with peace from worldly and godly wars. There is only one way to heaven and I pray that they learn of it. Protect those who protect us and bring them home safe to their familes. Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.......Amen!
Have a wonderful day and weekend!
God Bless

Hello My Friends,
A Good Friday to you!
"O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me"....Psalm 25:2
In Today's lesson we will continue reading the book of Psalms, chapters 23 -- 30.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=psalm%2023-30&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of The Great Shepherd, the King of Glory, a prayer for guidance, the love for God's House, a prayer for God's help, and of adoration of God's mighty power
David, the old shepherd-king who saw himself as nothing more than a sheep that needed to be led, was inspired by the Holy Spirit to say: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake" (Psalm 23:1-3).
No other livestock requires more attention than sheep. Left alone, they can easily become separated from the flock and lose their way. Of all domesticated animals, sheep are the most defenseless and helpless. By nature, we are all like sheep. We may blindly follow the same paths that have ruined the lives of others. Or we can become so caught up in our own affairs that we lose sight of the Good Shepherd and find ourselves separated from Him. "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." (John 10:11,14).
The trouble with most of us is that many times we try to be our own shepherd. There is something almost terrifying about the consequences of the destructive, self-willed stubbornness of those who refuse to be led in the paths of righteousness. They are determined to go their own way, even though the path they take will inevitably lead to trouble. It is a fact that without the Good Shepherd we are helpless, defenseless sheep. When we recognize this we will fully trust the Good Shepherd. We are comforted and encouraged by knowing that "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me"(Psalm 23:4).
Even Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me because we know that "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth (deciplines), and scourgeth (punishes) every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? " (Hebrews 12:6-7).
The utmost desire of every one of God's sheep should daily be "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5). God will guide and provide for every need that will better prepare us for eternity with Him.
We should pray each day: Lord, lead me in the paths of righteousness for His (Your) Name's sake (Psalm 23:3).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day. Thank you for the many blessings you give me today. Thank you for healing my aches and pains from the worries and stresses of the day. Thank you for taking on my burdens and casting them into the fire.
Forgive me, Lord, for the times when I, like the sheep have gone astray. Deep down I know that the only way to get through anything in life is through You. Walk with me, Lord, guide me and lead me away from the dangers and temptations that cause me to turn to my fleshly needs and emotions and away from You.
Bless me with a clean heart, one that focuses on Your words and Your guidance. Bless me with the strength and courage to always follow the path that You have chosen for me and bless me with the patience and positivity through any decipline you may have given me by not obeying You.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body that allows me to follow you and lead others to you. I know satan will try to put thoughts in my head and sickness to my body to try and keep me from following and telling others about you. He looks for any sign of weakness and uses it against me to make me lose my faith in you.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know. Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others. Bless those who do not know you and those who refuse to know you. May all come to know you and of the glorious blessings that you offer and of the pain they will suffer by not following you.
Bless our nations with peace and an end to all war and conflicts. Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.......Amen
Have a wonderful day! Oh yeah, it's Friday! Have a Happy and Healthy Weekend too!

Hello My Friend,
A Good Thursday to you!
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."....Psalm 19:14
In today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Psalms, chapters 18 -- 22.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=psalm%2018-22&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Thanksgiving for deliverance, the creation and Covenants of God, a prayer for God's people, and a cry of anguish and song of praise.
The effects of the Word of God are beyond compare, "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:" (Hebrews 1:3).
The heavens declare (are telling of) the glory of God; and the firmament (sky) sheweth His handy-work (Psalm 19:1). Most exciting is the transforming power of Jesus, the Word of God made flesh, upon all who receive Him as Lord.
The first six verses of Psalm 19 refer to the works of God in the world, and the remaining eight refer to the marvelous influence of His Word on the lives of all who love and obey Him.
In this short psalm, six names are used to express the Word of God:
1. "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:" (19:7). It is as far superior to the words of man as the heavens are above the earth. Then why should anyone settle for less than to receive with meekness the engrafted (implanted) Word, which is able to save (deliver, preserve) your souls (James 1:21)?
2. "The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple." (Psalm 19:7). The Apostle Paul confirmed this to Timothy, saying: Thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation (II Timothy 3:15).
3. "The statutes (law) of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart" (Psalm 19:8), because they are founded solely on the righteousness of God. His Word reveals what we are, as well as what God has planned for us to be.
4. "The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes" (19:8) are not merely suggested alternatives to popular opinion; it is the expression of the holiness of God. His Commandments provide a new life free from sin's bondage.
5. "The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever" (19:9), and is a respectful admiration for His holiness and a fear of offending His majesty.
6. "The judgments (decisions) of the LORD are true and righteous altogether" (19:9) God uses the best decisions to handle the situation and never goes back on His Word.
The psalmist expresses well what our feelings should be concerning the incomparable Word of God. "More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb." (Psalm 19:10).
Jesus is revealed as the One to whom the psalms refers to when they speak of the nails that pierced His hands and feet on the cross and the parting of His clothing (Psalm 22:16,18). When they had crucified Him, they parted His garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take (Mark 15:24). See also Matthew 27:35; Luke 23:34; John 19:18.
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
Walk with me, Lord, guide me and give me the strength to follow You and not be led by temptations or the needs of my flesh.
There are times when I am so weak that satan tries so hard to control me, to make me think badly about You, myself and others. I know He is wrong, You are my Saviour and my Lord and nothing he does can stop that.
Please be with me all through the day so that he can not try and come between us.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body, patience and understanding, and positive thoughts especially when all I want to do is hate everything I see today.
Bless me with wisdom and knowledge and teach me to listen for you every time you speak to me. Reveal yourself to me and let me know that you are near and Bless me with a prosperous day in all that I do.
Bless my family, friends and all I have come to know. Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others. Bless those who do not know you or refuse to know you and may they all come to know You.
Bless our nations with peace and an end to the wars and bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wonderful day!

Rest In Hope
"I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope." Psalm 16:7-9
Well, here we half way through the week already and even a new month is fastly approaching. Time sure seems to fly by whether we are enjoying that time or not. Although I do recall that those times that were not very enjoyable seemed to drag on for years, even though it may have just been a few minutes.
Are there times in your life (maybe you are even going through them right now) where it seems that no matter what you do time is stuck in this portal and you can not get out of it? Maybe you are trying to lose weight and you are doing everything right and you end up gaining weight instead of losing. Maybe you are next in line waiting for a promotion only to discover that you no longer have a job? Maybe you are engaged to be married and making plans to spend your life together and all of a sudden your mate gets put in prison? Or maybe a loved one went into the hospital for minor surgery that went well and suddenly took a fatal turn for the worse?
I could go on and on, everything is going great, than "Bam!" a smack, no, a punch in the face that leaves you wondering "Why? What did I do?" Times like this can make you so frustrated and angry that you want to yell and scream at God or whoever is next to you at the time. You find yourself losing control and falling deeper and deeper into a hole that you can not crawl out of, often becoming depressed and bitter of anyone and anything around you.
It is not easy, but you can turn things around, you can overcome any situation. God has the power to help you endure all hardships no matter how small or big they are. Remember that all things are possible through God, once you place your trust in Him He is right there with you, helping you get through it. We will experience difficulties for us to talk to God. He wants you to acknowledge Him, to let Him know that you respect Him and want Him in your life. Many times we go through things because we are so focused on losing that weight or getting that job and not focusing on Him. You may not realize this, but whatever it is that you are so focused on becomes your god and as you know God hates it when you worship other gods.
It is time to put the Lord before yourself and let Him break you out of that portal. When you walk in the presence of the Lord, those pounds that you gained will come off and then some. When you walk in the presence of the Lord, that job you lost will become the best job you ever had. When you walk in the presence of the Lord, you realize that prison time did them good and that you really do want to spend the rest of your life together. When you walk in the presence of the Lord, you realize that God does not want a soul to be held up in a body that is hurting it.
My heart is glad, my soul is joyful and I can rest in hope knowing that My God is at my right hand and never shall be removed.
Have a great day!
God Bless

A Good Wednesday to you!
"For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light." Psalms 36:9
In Today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Psalms, chapters 10 -- 17 . http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=psalm%2010-17&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of: The judgment upon the wicked, David's desire for justice, those who shall dwell with God, and a prayer for protection.
David asked a question that has eternal consequences: "Lord, who shall abide (dwell) in Thy Tabernacle (Tent)? who shall dwell in Thy holy hill?" (land) (Psalm 15:1). He meant, "What qualifies a person to dwell in the presence of God?" The Holy Spirit provided the answer: "He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart "(15:2).
To work righteousness means that one becomes a child of God through faith in Christ. Jesus told Nicodemus: "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God "(John 3:5). "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth"(John17:17). Those who accept the truth and believe through their faith in Jesus will dwell in the spirit of God.
Although the Book of Psalms foretells the resurrection of Christ, it also offers assurance that all who believe in Him will rise to share in His resurrection and life eternal. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump (relability) of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" (I Thessalonians 4:16).
How wonderful to dwell in Him and to look forward to living in the presence of our Lord forever. Like David, let us rejoice: "I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope" (Psalm 16:8-9).
The Almighty God fulfilled the prophecy of David: "For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." (16:10) Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus Christ ascended heavenward to take His place at the right hand of the Father as had been prophesied. "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore" (16:11).
On the Day of Pentecost, Peter quoted from this psalm to assure about three thousand people that Jesus was the Christ of whom David had prophesied (See Acts 2:1,25-28,31).
The risen Christ is the Good News of the Gospel upon which our faith is based. "As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive "(I Corinthians 15:22).
Jesus is revealed in the prophecy that God would not allow His Holy One to see corruption (Psalm 16:10). This foretells of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:25-27; 13:35-39). Jesus spoke the Revelation to John, "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death" (Revelation 1:17-18).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for the many blessings you give me each day.
Thank you for sending Your son, Jesus to show us the way to rightousness and ever lasting life. Walk with me, Lord, reveal yourself to me and allow me to dwell in your presence.
Bless me with the strength and courage to always follow You no matter what obstacles I face and lead me away from the temptations that cause me to sin and lose that presence.
Bless me with the wisdom and understanding I need to show others what a blessing You will be in their lives and to not get discouraged by those who put me down for believing in You.
Bless me with a healthy mind, body, and spirit that allows me to stay focused and positive all through the day.
Bless me with patience and understanding when things do not go as planned.
Bless my family, friends and all I come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless our nations, with peace and an end to all war and conflicts.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.......Amen
Have a wonderful day! We are half way through the week already.

A Good Tuesday to you!
"He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them"....Psalm 145:19
In Today's lesson we will begin reading the book of Psalms, chapters 1-9.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalms%201-9&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will be learning of
The blessed and the ungodly, David's confidence in God, a prayer for protection, mercy, and deliverance.
The key to receiving a blessing from God begins with three negative statements. The first is: "Blessed (Divinely favored, Fortunate) is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly" (Psalm 1:1).
The ungodly may live acceptable lifestyles that conform to the basic moral standards of society, but live and act as though the Creator God does not exist. Therefore, they assume that any religion, or none at all, is equally acceptable. In doing this, they feel no accountability to God and see no need of a Savior.
The second negative statement is: "Nor standeth in the way of sinners "(1:1). Sinners speak, act, think, and live to please themselves. They may be honest, upright, and generous in the eyes of the majority of people. They may even believe there is a God and may live a good, moral life.
Consequently, they are deceived and see no need to repent of sin because they do not think they are sinners. The Christian life is centered in God, but the sinner's life is centered on himself.
The third negative statement is: "Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." The scornful (1:1) makes known his belittling, antagonistic attitude against God the Father as Creator of all things and against worshiping Jesus Christ as God the Son - "the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13).
The scornful, for the most part, stand firmly and openly against the Bible and Jesus Christ as the only way to be saved and reach heaven.
The blessed person has delight and interest in the Lord, "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."
(Psalm 1:2).
If we delight in pleasing Jesus Christ, we will "meditate" upon His Word. As we meditate prayerfully in His Law, the Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts, revealing the meaning of His Word for our lives. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." (John 16:13).
One of the great blessings that is imparted to those who meditate upon God's Word comes silently and unnoticed, "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." (Psalm 1:3).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for the many blessings you give me each day.
Thank you for my eyes that can see your words and for my brain that can read them and for your wisdom to understand them.
Walk with us Lord, guide us and be with us all through the day.
Teach us to listen when You speak and help us to focus and concentrate on what You are saying.
Bless us with wisdom and knowledge and be with us when we read Your words so that we can learn and understand what we are reading.
Bless us with the strength and courage to always follow You no matter what or who tries to stop us.
Bless us with healthy minds, bodies, and spirits.
Bless our families, friends and all we come to know.
Bless our nations, give them peace and an end to all these wars and conflicts.
Bless those who protect us and bring them home safe to their families.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless those who do not know you and who refuse to know you.
May they see the truth and learn of the glorious life in store for them with you in it.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wonderfully, full of unexpected blessings day.
God Bless You
Desires: From God or The Flesh
"Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah." Psalm 3:1-4
When I read this Scripture this morning it got me thinking about what it meant. I remember thinking back to people that I have known and even lived with that were and still are always causing trouble yet seem to always get everything they wanted. It would aggravate me so much and still does at times, but I realize something, we should never enjoy too much of a good thing because if God is not in the picture you can be sure it will catch up to you.
Maybe you have known or even live with people that always seem to get everything just the way they want it. They always get the job, person, or things they want and will do whatever it takes to get it, many times hurting whoever they come in contact with in the process. At the same time you are wondering, I am doing everything right, why do I have to work so hard and so long to get what I desire and many times not even get it. Why do they have all the luck and I am stuck like this?
We all have desires and needs and most of us have to work hard to get them, and if it is truly something that is from the will of God, you can rest assure that you will get them. God knows exactly what we need and as long as it does not cause harm to you or others He is going to make sure we get the things we desire.
There are two kinds of desires, the desires of the soul and the desires of the flesh. The desires of the soul are the true desires from God, those things that we feel so passionate about that are developed through our talents. The desires of the flesh are the things that we are passionate about that satisfy our flesh and only our flesh. How can you tell the difference? If it is a desire from the soul it will last forever, a desire from the flesh will fade. God hears all prayers, he will protect us and guide us to success in all our desires.
And what about those who manipulate their way to get what they desire and think that they do not need God or use his name to get what they want? The worse thing anyone can do is use the name of God in a way to achieve fleshly desires. They might have the glory for a little while, but all things come to an end, God's wrath will be upon them.
Follow the Lord, he will hear you, guide you and protect you through every trial that you are facing. Look inside yourself and learn to discover what is truly the desires from God.

A Good and Happy Monday to you!
"I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me".....Psalm 3:5
In Today's Lesson we will finish reading the book of Job, chapters 41 -- 42.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2041-42&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of
God's great power reviewed, Job's submission to God, his prayer for his friends, and of God's blessings to Job.
Through a series of over 80 questions, God revealed to Job many of the wonders of the universe, some of which have only recently been "discovered" by science. Because of his faith in God and his patience through suffering, Job acknowledged the supreme authority of God compared to how little is known by mankind.
It is no surprise to read that Job confessed to God: "I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not."(Job 42:2-3).
By this he meant: "Although I did not understand, I will never again question what God does or what He allows to happen, since His love and wisdom are perfect."
All of us need to be reminded that our limited knowledge and ability to cope with life's problems should cause us to realize how foolish, as well as sinful, it is to question the wisdom and love of God for His children. We need to accept, with submissive hearts, the circumstances He allows in our lives, which He will use to fulfill His loving, eternal purpose.
During his suffering, Job experienced glorious revelations of the incomparable greatness of God and His ways. Job's spiritual understanding continued to grow as he said: "I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth Thee. Wherefore I abhor (despise) myself, and repent in dust and ashes" (42:5-6).
Those who trust in the Lord, as Job did, are not searching for the answers to all of life's problems, nor asking the questions: "Why?" or "Why me?" They are simply trusting our loving, all-wise Father, who always knows what we need and will give the best to those who trust Him.
Job's friends must have been amazed to hear the Voice from heaven say to Eliphaz: "And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath." (42:7)
Job could have become proud after God came to his defense. Instead, he humbly prayed for God to forgive his three friends who had so cruelly misjudged him. Then God said: "Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job." (42:8)
Jesus also set an example when He said: "Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you" (Luke 6:28).
People are going to criticize and hurt you, especially when they know that you follow our God. Just as Jesus said: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34) we also must forgive them and pray for them. If you do not it will cause so much bitterness and hate in your life that not only will it affect you mentally and physically, but all those around you as well. Let it go and let God take care of it. You will see the blessings unfold.
"And the LORD turned the captivity of Job (blessed him), when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before."(Job 42:10)
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another beautiful day.
I am alive and have You with me and know that I can do and get through anything with You guiding me.
Thank you for all that You do for me.
My Lord, there are times when I have never been able to forgive someone who has hurt me.
I may have even forgotten and now have a bitterness inside me from years of unforgiveness.
I ask you to forgive those who have caused me pain and to forgive me for letting it go on for so long.
Give me a clean heart and awake a new spirit within me that leads to a more joyful life.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body that will follow You and only you.
Bless me with patience and understanding and to not let the anxiousness of my flesh try to speed things up knowing that it will only slow me down instead.
Bless my family, friends, and all I come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Lord, bless those who are angry and bitter and cause strife with whomever they meet.
They are hurting inside and really do not know what they are doing.
Work in their hearts, help them to forgive and forget and to get on with their lives.
Bless our nations with peace from war and conflicts.
Keep those safe who keep us safe.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a great day and week!
God Bless

A Good Sunday to you!
"Blessed are all they that put their trust in him".....Psalm 2:12
In today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Job, chapters 38 -- 40.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2038-40&version=9
In Today's Reading we will learn of Elihu's speech interrupted by God, God's challenge to Job, man's weakness and ignorance, Job's humbleness.
Is it any surprise that God interrupted Elihu's speech and answered Job. "Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?" (Job 38:1-2).
For the first time since his suffering started, Job began hearing words of comfort rather than condemnation. When the God of love said: "Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me."(38:3),
God seemed to be saying: "Get up! You have suffered long enough; you have proven Satan a liar; now, get ready to move a little closer to Me. I'm not as far away from you as it seemed when you said: "Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him"(23:8-9). I want you to see that I, and I alone, control the vast universe and yet am greatly concerned with even the smallest detail of your life.
The second statement of God to Job was equally comforting: "I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me" (38:3). The Lord was saying to Job: You no longer have to listen to the insults of cruel men, for I am in control and will reveal to you the most amazing wisdom concerning the universe ever given to mankind.
First, God wanted Job to consider the limitations of his own wisdom compared to the wisdom of the One who created the universe: "Canst thou bind the sweet influences (chains) of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?" (38:31). God asked Job about 60 questions in this first cycle of conversation (38:1-40:2), and over 80 questions altogether (38-41). The wisest astronomer can't explain or change one star in the marvelous array of Pleiades, one of the most beautiful clusters of stars.
The Mighty God, who created the universe, also created us, cares for us, patiently listens to our prayers, and provides us with what is best for us in the light of our eternal destination.
We need to see how unqualified we are to question His wisdom. Nothing is unforeseen and no one is overlooked, slighted, or left out by our Heavenly Father. He imparts inner strength and sustains us by His indwelling Holy Spirit.
God's words to the Apostle Paul were also for us: "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (II Corinthians 12:9).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the blessings that are known and the ones that are in disguise through the pain.
Thank you for the lessons you have taught me through my obedience and through my sins.
Lord, I know that you are always with us, whether we want to admit it, believe it, or not.
Sometimes I go through things and think "Why me? What have I done to deserve this?", but in reality it was always something that strengthened me and taught me more than I would have known without them.
We are so blessed with the power of free will and choices.
And many times the choices me we make can cause us to be thrown off the track.
You may ground us, but you also teach us along the way and help us to get back on that track.
Thank you, Lord for all that you do for us, we may not always understand, but you bring us out of it all, even stronger and better than we were before.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wonderful Sabbath day.
God Bless

A Good Saturday to you!
"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper"......Psalm 1:3
In Today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Job, chapters 34 -- 37.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Job%2034-37&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of:
Elihu continuing his accusations against Job
Elihu did not speak until Job's three friends had ended their accusations. He condemned Job's three friends but expressed even greater hostility toward Job. Four times in five verses we read variations of the phrase that Elihu's wrath was kindled (Ref: 32:1-5).
This young egotist referred to himself by the words "me," "my," and "I" at least 55 times to inform Job that he alone was chosen to intercede on Job's behalf and that he was according to thy (Job's) wish in God's stead (place)(Ref: 32:6, 33:33). Elihu's accusations against Job's testimony are, at best, half-truths and misinterpretations (Ref: 33:8-13).
One of Elihu's accusations was that Job had claimed to be sinlessly perfect. "For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment."
(34:5). The fact is Job acknowledged his imperfection as sin in 7:21 and 13:26. However, the Lord proclaimed Job as "My servant, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man"(1:8).
Elihu falsely stated that Job hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God "For he (Job) hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God." (34:9). But Job never said that.
Elihu continued his vicious attack on this dear, godly man, saying: "Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God." (34:35-37).
Elihu's conclusions were in direct opposition to the testimony of God, who said that "Job had spoken of Me the thing that is right"(Ref: 42:7).
During times of personal afflictions, heartbreaking bereavement, persecution, or financial struggles, we are often tempted to become depressed and even fail to pray. That is when we need someone's loving comfort and assurance that our Lord ultimately controls every situation that comes into our lives.
Regardless of how bad it may seem God wants only good things in our lives. He will afflict us so that we come to Him. If we did not have times of sorrow and grief we would not need Him therefore we would not come to Him as much. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."(Romans 8:28; also Genesis 50:20).
Have faith in the wisdom of God, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (I Peter 5:7).
"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."
(I Peter 3:12).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for my eyes that can see the words that I read and my brain that understands what all these letters mean.
Lord, I know that there are times when I have let my emotions, worries, frustrations and even other people draw me away from You, especially when I needed You the most.
Forgive me, Lord for not having the faith in you that I needed to get me out of those situations.
Forgive me for the pain that I caused myself as I thought I had no way out.
Lord, You have the power to remove every pain, every negative thought or person, and all needless suffering.
Walk with me, set me free from all worry and emotional and physical pain that I sometimes put myself through.
I am weak, I can not do this alone, but I know that with You I have the strength to endure all that I am afflicted with.
Bless me, Lord with a clean heart, free from the hurt and the unforgetable thoughts that plague my mind.
Give me the courage to stand tall and go forward no matter what tries to keep me back.
Bless me with the patience and understanding I need to follow Your will and not mine.
Lead me away from temptaion and teach me to find the positives through the negatives.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me.
Bless those who do not know what they are doing and cause grief around all who know them.
Help me not to be someone that causes grief on someone else.
Bless our nations with peace and an end to war and conflicts.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wonderful day and weekend.

A Good Friday to you! Oh yea, It is Friday! Let us rejoice! Hopefully you are able to, just a little bit.
"Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day"....Psalm 25:5
In Today's lesson we will continue reading the book of Job, chapters 30 -- 33.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2030-33&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Job's proclamation of his integrity, and of Elihu's accusations.
No one in biblical history, other than Christ, suffered so much public humiliation and intense physical and emotional pain as Job did. He had held the chief administrative position in his country and had dwelt as a king (Job 29:25). "I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out" (29:12,15-16).
In chapter 31 he listed 12 common sins that no one could accuse him of committing. Yet, in his time of need, no one expressed compassion or a kind word to him.
For Job, there seemed to be no end to the cruelty of the people who made his suffering even more painful and miserable: "Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction. They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
"They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me. My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest."(30:12-17).
But, by far, the most troubling to Job was that it seemed that God did not care and was not hearing his prayers: "I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not. Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me. Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance. For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living." 30:23)
At such times our faith is put to the test, "For we walk by faith, not by sight"(II Corinthians 5:7) and are not dependent upon things that are seen. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. "(Hebrews 11:1).
We are to trust the Lord and the promises of His Word. Faith does not originate with us but it is a gift from God. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8).
Job's three friends mistakenly judged his relationship to God, but he did not allow them to destroy his faith. As we consider Job, whom God declared the most perfect man on earth (Job 1:8), should we be surprised when we are falsely criticized? The most devoted Christian often suffers the worst indignities and humiliation from thoughtless, inconsiderate people even from some who profess to be Christians.
"So that we ourselves glory in (speak proudly of) you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations (afflictions) that ye endure: Which is a manifest (visible) token (proof) of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer"(II Thessalonians 1:4-5).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the food to eat, the water to drink, and the air that I breathe.
Thank you for forgiving me of all my sins of omission and submission.
Lord, there are times where I have suffered great pain and sorrow that started due to my not forgiving someone.
Even today some of the things that I suffer with are a reflection of unforgiveness.
Unforgiveness is a sin that many of us have been afflicted by.
Lord, walk with us, guide us and help us to forgive those who have hurt us, even the family and friends who may have caused much pain.
By forgiving them I am releasing all of that anger, bitterness, and distress and giving it all to you to take care of.
You are my strength and my rock that will give me the peace I need in my heart to forgive and forget and to help others that are going through the same things.
My Lord, Bless me with a healthy, mind, body, and spirit so that I may be prosperous in all that I do and for your glory.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and those who do not know you or refuse to know you.
Bless those who turn your words around and try to get us to walk away from you.
May all come to know you, Lord and know the truth once and for all.
May you use me to guide them and show them the truth.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray......Amen.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy that weekend, even if it is only part of it.
God Bless You.

A Good Thursday to you! Another week is quickly passing by, I hope that all is well in your journey this week.
"O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people"....Psalm 105:1
In Today's Lesson we will continue to read from the book of Job, chapters 25 -- 29.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2025-29&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Bildad's answer, Job's reproof of Bildad, Job's praise to God; Job's truthfulness; his source of wisdom, and of his recalling his past wealth.
The Book of Job is the inspired Word of God. Job was not searching for answers when he said: "But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air." (Job 28:12-13,15,20-21).
Job was expressing his utmost confidence that God is the Author and Revealer of true wisdom. There is no substitute for reading all of His Word to understand His perfect plan for our lives.
This means that it is important to read through every book of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, with a sincere desire to apply its instruction to our own lives. We can be sure that Satan will attempt to distract us from the true source of wisdom and cause us to make decisions based on circumstances or contemporary standards.
The worldly-minded find fault with God, just as the Israelites did as they journeyed through the wilderness. They complained about their circumstances instead of acknowledging that God was in control.
We too can make unwise decisions when we allow ourselves to become frustrated. To illustrate, we may say to someone: "You make me angry." But the fact is, we choose to be angry. Or we may say: "I am depressed today." However, the sad truth is that we have refused to see God in the circumstances He has allowed to take place in our lives.
We can be sure that our Lord is far more concerned with our best interests than we are. "Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator"(I Peter 4:19). As long as we commit to God's will, even during our suffering He will take care of everything for us and the blessings will be endless.
We always have the choice to move above and beyond anger and disappointments by permitting the indwelling Christ to rule our lives. This is the key to experiencing the peace of God "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 4:7).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for the rainy days and the thunderstorms.
Thank you for the days when all I have to eat is noodles.
Thank you for the days when you healed me from a cold or any other common sickness and especially the uncommon sicknesses.
You are always with us no matter what path we follow.
You love and care for us even when we do not want be bothered with you.
Thank you, Lord for not giving up on us and waiting so patiencently for us to come to our senses.
But then again patience is your thing. If you wait patiently for us then we must wait just as patiently for you.
Lord, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you have given us, the greatest gift You could give us is Your love and the love of our families and friends.
It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear.
Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but to all humanity.
Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive and show patience, empathy and love toward one another, no matter who they are.
Lord, may I ask You a few things while I am here?
My Lord, I ask You for wisdom and knowledge.
Teach me to learn and understand Your words so that I am able to pass it on to others.
Bless me with patience to let You handle all things in my life, on Your time and not mine.
Bless me with the strength and courage to always follow Your will and not the will of my flesh.
Bless me with a healthy mind, body, and spirit and Bless my family, friends, and all with those as well.
You know what is best for us and some times we suffer and even watch others suffer.
Give us peace knowing that through the suffering comes strength and many blessings to come.
Help us through all our needs and help us to be a blessing to others needs.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen
Have a great my friend! Remember, God is never too far, talk to Him.

A Good Wednesday to you!
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise....Psalm 98:4
In Today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Job, chapters 21 -- 24.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2021-24&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Job declaring that wicked men sometimes prosper, Eliphaz accusing Job of sin, and of Job's desire to plead his case before God.
Few men in Bible history are so highly esteemed by God as Job. God said of him: "There is none like him in the earth, a perfect (blameless) and an upright man, one that feareth (reveres) God, and escheweth (shuns) evil"(Job 1:8).
His friends mistakenly supposed that all his problems were the result of his secret sins. They assumed that wicked men are miserable and, since Job was exceedingly miserable, he must be very wicked!
It is shocking to read how wrong Eliphaz could be with his blunt, critical, and cruel condemnation of Job, saying: "Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles." (22:21-23).
In striking contrast, God said to Job's friend Eliphaz: "Ye have not spoken of Me the thing that is right, as My servant Job hath" (42:7).
There are still self-righteous, overbearing, opinionated people like Eliphaz, who are quick to pass judgment on anyone who doesn't believe as they do or who experience difficulties or sickness.
Job's faith was unshakable because he could truthfully say: "His way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food"(23:11-12).
He believed that, since God was faithful to His Word, He also would be faithful to His obedient servant.
We often do not understand why we face disappointments, sufferings, or being misunderstood. But, we can believe and trust in God, since He always gives His best to all who desire to do His will.
The devotion of Job should be an inspiration to all of us who are not as concerned about knowing the "reason" for our suffering as with knowing God and His Word, the only true source of guidance.
It seemed to Job that God was nowhere to be found. But, regardless of this, Job said: "But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth. For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him." (Job 23:10-14).
God never gives us more than we can not handle, in our time of suffering He will reward us through our faithfulness. Many times tragedy and loss are ways to get you to become closer to Him as there are many unforseen blessings through being faitful to God.
Jesus Christ's faithfulness to the Father is seen as He prayed for the Father's will to be done. "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."(Luke 22:42).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for all the blessings you have given me, the good, the bad, and even the terrible ones.
I may never understand all that I have gone through, but I do understand that I am a better person now because of it.
Lord, there are so many people suffering, it seems that as soon as one tragedy is amended another begins.
And yet, just around the corner, just over the next hill, we see new life, we see new hope.
When it seems that we are actually, finally at our wits' end and we've seen the end of all that we can do, that is when you are at your nearest, your most miraculous, your best.
Walk with them, protect them, give them strength from all their suffering and pain.
Bless them with the peace they need knowing that through You all things are possible and that there is light through the darkness.
Lord, I can not think of any thing that I need to ask for at this time.
All that I have is all I really need and that is your guidance and your gift of eternal life, all other things are just posessions.
Help me to always put You first above all everything else, that is all I ask.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless our nations with peace and an end to all war and conflicts.
Protect those who protect us and bring them home safe to their family and friends.
Bless those who do not know you and those who refuse to know you.
They know not what they do and hopefully they will see the truth and enjoy eternal life with us.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray....Amen.
Have a wonderful day, full of many, many blessings.

A Good Tuesday to you!
"O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days"...Psalm 90:14
In Today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Job, chapters 17 -- 20.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2017-20&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Job's appeal to God, Bildad's cruel accusation, Job's reaffirmation of faith, and Zophar refering to Job as a wicked man.
Job assumed all hope of recovery was gone when he said: "My breath (spirit) is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me. Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow. My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart."(Job 17:1,7,11).
Bildad interrupted this suffering saint with scaastic words that were even more cruel and critical than his first speech. He assumed that Job's sufferings exposed him as a sinful hypocrite who was hopelessly condemned:"For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world."(18:8,18). Bildad went on to say: "Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God"(18:21).
This mistaken accusation from Job's "friend" must have been a bitter blow. Not only was Job facing death, but to die misjudged as a hypocrite when he knew his heart was right with God must have been heartbreaking.
Our hearts are deeply stirred with compassion as this pitiful, lonely, suffering saint looked beyond his "friends." With great spiritual discernment and assurance, Job said: "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me." (19:25-27).
This revelation of life after death is one of the greatest in the Old Testament. God leads us to see, through Job, that we have no valid excuse for complaining about our suffering, material loss, or being misunderstood by others.
According to the Law, a redeemer was the next of kin who was responsible for redeeming (buying back) an enslaved kinsman or his lost inheritance (Leviticus 25:25). The kinsman-redeemer foreshadowed the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior-Redeemer. We were hopeless, lost sinners condemned to die and to be cast into eternal hell.
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
(Romans 3:20-24).
Jesus Christ is our Redeemer. By His death, He provided the required sacrifice for our sins (Acts 20:28; Ephesians 1:13-14; Revelation 5:9).
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:13-14).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing us with another day.
Thank you for the many blessings you give us each day, espicially the ones we take for granted.
It is so easy to become angry and bitter at people for the way we have been treated by them.
Forgive me, Lord for the times that I have held on to the past and been unforgiving to others.
For without forgiving others I am sinning myself.
Give me the strength to forgive and to forget.
You gave up your only son to die for all our sins. A sinless, godly man willing to give his life to save our own.
Thank you, Jesus, there are no words that can be said that will be good enough to show how grateful we are.
The only way I know is by following You, by being the person that You have wanted me to be.
Walk with me, Lord, guide me and teach me to always walk in the spirit and not the flesh.
Bless me with the wisdom and knowledge I need to understand and listen for you when you speak.
Bless me with patience and compassion.
Give me the strength and courage to walk away from the temptations that cause me to sin and fall short of Your glory.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body that will allow us to do Your will more easily.
Bless my family, friends, and all we have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless those who do not know you and who refuse to know You. May all learn and accept You as their Saviour.
Bless our nations and those fighting to keep us safe.
Give them peace and and end to all war and conflicts.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray......Amen.
Have a great day!
God Bless You

A Good Monday to you! Hope you had a great weekend.
"the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly"
Psalm 84:11
In today's lesson we will continue reading the book of Job, chapters 13 -- 16.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%2013-16&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Job's defense of his integrity; his desire to die; Eliphaz's intensified condemnation (blame); and of Job's complaint of God's dealing with him.
Satan prompted the attacks on Job by his wife and by his "devoted" friends in an attempt to prove his own accusation that Job would curse(ban) God if his many blessings were removed.
Job's suffering intensified with days and weeks of sleeplessness and painful, ulcerating boils that would only become more intense since he had no painkillers. It may appear that he wavered at times, but Job always ended his comments on a high note of praise. Job could say with utmost confidence: "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified" (Job 13:15,18).
Although Job gave up hope of recovering his health, wealth, children, or high esteem among the people, he did not become bitter or resentful toward his accusers or toward God. Instead, he looked forward to being with the Lord after his death, saying: "If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come"(14:14), meaning: "After death, I shall live again and I will be changed."
How different Job's attitude was from many today who blame fate, circumstances, God, or others for what goes wrong in their lives. Some easily become dissatisfied, bitter, pessimistic, or engulfed in self-pity. Their self-image depends on others' reactions. When others praise them, their self-esteem rises; when they are criticized or their plans fail, they feel defeated. Job didn't need praise from people to maintain his faith since he retained his confidence in the wisdom and justice of his Creator.
Christians can thank God for the perfect Savior and great High Priest, "who ever liveth to make intercession for them (us)"(Hebrews 7:25). Having accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord of our lives, we should have a sincere desire to know His will by reading all His Word.
Job's unshakable faith in God resulted from his obedience to the revealed Word of God. He said: "Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food "(Job 23:12).
"They have gaped (stared) upon me with their mouth; they have smitten (hit) me upon the cheek reproachfully (accusingly); they have gathered themselves together against me." (Job 16:10).
Just as Job was struck, Christ was also struck by those who ridiculed Him (Matthew 27:29-44; John 18:22-23; Psalms 22:7-8; 109:25; Isaiah 53).
When we walk along the path of the Lord we will continuously be struck by Satan's attacks, even from our own family members. Let the strength of the Lord keep us walking along that straight and narrow path.
"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:14)
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing us with another day.
Thank you for the many blessings you give us each day.
Thank you for always watching over us and even protecting us when we have tried to do things on our own without you.
You are the rock that keeps us from falling.
You are the glue that keeps us together.
Forgive us, Lord for the times that we have gone our seperate ways.
Forgive us of our sins of omission and submission.
Walk with us, guide us and give us the strength and courage to always walk with you.
Help us to fight off the critics and the unbelievers and teach us to lead them to you.
Bless us and cleanse us with a clean heart.
Bless us with healthy, minds, bodies, and souls.
Bless us with prosperity in all that we do.
Bless our families, friends, and all we have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than us and those who are suffering from pain and affliction.
Give them peace knowing that you will anwer all prayers when the time is right.
Bless those who do not know you and those who refuse to follow you. May all learn of you and your Glory.
Bless our nations, give them peace and an end to all the wars and conflicts.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray......Amen.
Have a wondeful day and week.
God Bless You

A Good Sunday to you! Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's today!
"Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me".....Psalm 66:20 God answers all prayers when the time is right as long as it does not harm you or others.
In today's lesson we will continue reading from th book of Job, chapters 9 -- 12.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%209-12&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Job acknowledgement of God's justice, his weariness of life, Zophar's accusation, and Job's affirmation of faith in God's wisdom.
All of us will benefit by listening carefully to the spiritual discernment of Job, whom God said was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil (Job 1:1).
This man of spiritual insight proclaimed with confidence: "Are not his (man's) days also like the days of an hireling (hired worker)? So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me"(7:1,3).
His friend Bildad incorrectly believed that God had appointed wearisome nights of suffering only for sinners, and his response to Job was critical and cynical: How long wilt thou speak these things? If thou wert pure and upright; surely now He would awake (rouse Himself) for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous"(8:2,6).
Bildad concluded that those who enjoy good things in this life are righteous, and all suffering is the result of sin. But, in a parable given by Jesus, the rich man who built bigger barns for "greater blessings" was not one who pleased the Lord (Luke 12:18,20). Another time, Jesus revealed that a man was not born blind because of sin but that the works of God should be made manifest in him (John 9:2-3).
Job's suffering led him to experience deep, spiritual maturity as he recognized God as far superior to himself and he spoke with confidence, saying: "Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again? Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit."
(Job 10:9,12).
However, Job knew that he and God could not meet on the same level: "For He is not a man, as I am, that I should answer Him, and we should come together in judgment (court). Neither is there any daysman (arbitrator) betwixt us"(9:32-33). Job expressed the desperate need for a mediator, someone who would stand in the gap between the Holy God and sinful man.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only Mediator who can restore man's broken fellowship with God. "8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."(Romans 5:8-10).
"For there is One God, and One Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus" (I Timothy 2:5). We now have access to the Father through our Mediator Jesus Christ. "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:"(Hebrews 9:24)
Today's Prayer:
Dead Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the many blessings you have given me.
Thank you for a loving Dad who in his own way tries to still take care of his kid(s) no matter how old we get.
I give you all the glory today, my Lord, my Creator and my Father.
Thank you for forgiving me and creating me into the person I am today.
I give glory to you for my Jesus.
Thank you for loving me so much that you sacificed you life to give me a new clean life.
I give glory to you for my Holy Spirit.
Thank you for living inside me and giving me meaning to life.
Together all these things form one temple for your glory.
Thank you, Lord.
In Jesus name, I pray......Amen.
Have a wonderful day! Many blessings to you and to all the Dad's.

A Good Saturday to you!
"Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."....Psalm 31:24
in today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Job, chapters 5 -- 8.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=job%205-8&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Eliphaz's rebuke of Job continuing; Job's response; Job reproaching (criticizing)his friends, and Bildad's theory about Job's affliction.
After one full week of silent contemplation about Job's suffering, Eliphaz, his eldest friend spoke first (Job 2:3; 4:2). He tried to convince Job to confess his secret sin, saying: "Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:"(5:17). Eliphaz then went on to elaborate on the blessings Job could expect if he would only confess his sin, and he confidently concluded: "Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good." (5:27).
In addition to Job's physical sufferings, his financial loss, the death of his children, and his wife's bitterness toward God, all three of his friends misjudged his integrity and continued to unmercifully attack him day after day.
Job felt the bitter sting of Eliphaz's condemnation and his insinuation that Job was a hypocrite. Job did not understand why God had not come to his defense. Even worse, it seemed to him that he had even been struck down by the Almighty "For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me."(6:4)
However, through Job's sufferings we see how the Lord was bringing to light deeper spiritual insight, when Job said: "What is man, that Thou shouldest magnify him? and that Thou shouldest set Thine heart upon him? And that Thou shouldest visit (examine) him every morning, and try (test) him every moment?"(7:17-18)
We too recognize our insignificance in comparison to the eternal, holy, and Almighty God. Although He created us, by nature we are defiled by sin and deserve eternal punishment. But, through the miraculous new birth, we have the joy of being eternally with our loving Creator. However, all who reject Christ as personal Savior and Lord will be cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death (Revelation 20:14).
It is not our Heavenly Father's will that any should perish, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (II Peter 3:9). However, God tries (proves) either with afflictions or with blessings. Through it all, He is seeking to develop in us a genuine love for and commitment to Him.
All that God does and allows is for our ultimate good. "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake" (Philippians 1:29).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the many blessings you have given me today and every day.
Thank you for sending us your son, Jesus to die for us and bless us with eternal life.
Thank you for the good and awesome things you have blessed me with, for without these I would not have believed in so many things.
Thank you for the bad and ugly things that you have blessed me with, for without these I would not be as strong as I am today.
I do not understand many of the things that I have gone through, I may never understand.
I do understand that whatever you send my way it is to make me a better person, to strengthen my faith in You and to learn that only through You will I prosper.
Lord, I pray that you walk with me and guide me.
Lead me along the path you have chosen for me.
Give me the strength and courage to always stay on that path.
Teach me to listen for you when you speak and to walk away from the temptations, and emotions that cause me to sin.
Grant me a good healthly mind and body.
Be with me in the decisions I make, help me to make the right choices and listen for the dangers before I respond to anything.
Bless me with patience and a positive, clear thinking mind that will allow me to do Your will and not the will of my flesh or of others influences.
Bless my family, freinds, and all I ahve come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless our troops and our nations, give them peace, keep them safe and put an end to all the wars and conflicts.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray......Amen.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy your weekend.

A Good Friday to you! And TGIF!
"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me"....Psalm 51:10
In today's lesson we will begin reading my favorite book in the old testament, the book of Job, chapters 1-4.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Job%201-4&version=9
In today's lesson we will learn of Job's wealth and godliness, of Satan being permitted to afflict Job, and of the critical counsel by Job's wife and his three friends.
Without the Holy Scriptures, we would never understand the reason for suffering. Job, the faithful servant of the Lord, was stripped of his family, possessions, reputation, and health. But his suffering was not misfortune or bad luck, nor was it punishment from God for his sins as his friends mistakenly assumed.
Our Creator, who knows our innermost thoughts, declared that Job was perfect and upright. "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared(respected) God, and eschewed(avoided) evil."(Job 1:1).
Behind all the world's evil is Satan, "And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."
(1:7) His continuous effort is to destroy all that is good, but Satan is under the constant surveillance of God and can do nothing without His permission.
Satan assumed that, like every self-serving person, Job was faithful only because God would reward him. During his intense suffering and testing, Job's wife even suggested that he curse God. "Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die."(2:9). She too had suffered loss, but it seems that her greatest loss was her faith in God.
Job realized he was not the owner of all he possessed, not even of his children, but he was merely the Lord's manager of things entrusted to his care. From there, it was just one more step of faith for Job to accept that God, in His infinite wisdom, had the right to reclaim His possessions anytime He chose.
Instead of cursing God, Job worshiped Him, saying: "The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the Name of the LORD."(1:21).
Just as Satan used Job's "friends" to criticize, belittle, and condemn him, Satan still delights in using family, friends, coworkers, and even fellow church members to do the same today. "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (I Peter 5:8). But Satan is not a lion; he only appears like a lion, and his roaring is all bluff.
Our God, the Master Planner, is still in full control. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (Hebrews 13:8).
In the conversation between Satan and God Almighty (Job 1:6-12). We can see the meaning of Christ's statement to Peter; "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." (Luke 22:31-32).
It is comforting to know that Satan cannot test us beyond the will of God.
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the gift of life and a fresh new day to get it right.
I praise you, Lord for all that you have done.
I praise you for the good times and the bad times, you know I would not be who I am today without them.
Thank you for being there with me through it all whether I wanted it or not.
Thank you, Lord for not giving up on me and showing me the light.
You are great and almighty and worthy of all praise.
Without You nothing is possible or is achieved.
Walk with me, Lord, guide me and lead me all throughout this day.
Give me the strength and patience I need to always follow your will and not the will of my flesh.
Bless me with a healthy mind, body, and spirit so that I am able to do your will moe easily.
Bless me with motivation and energy to keep up with things no matter how tiring they seem.
Bless me with wisdom and knowledge and teach me to hear for you when you speak to me.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless those who do not know you, may all come to know you, Lord.
Bless our nations, give them peace and an end to all war and conflict.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wonderful day and let's get ready for the weekend.

A Good Thursday to you!
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly"....Psalm 84:11
In today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Esther, chapter 8 -- 10.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ester%208-10&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of Esther's plea to reverse Haman's decree, the enemies of the Jews are destroyed, the Festival of Purim is instituted, and Mordecai's promotion to a great honor.
Haman's "wise counselors" had cast Pur (lot) to determine the most favorable time for the execution of all Jews. Haman's "lucky day" fell on the 13th day of the twelfth month (Esther 3:7-13; 9:1,24). Undoubtedly Haman felt fortunate that the lot had fallen on the last month of the year so that he would have plenty of time to make his evil plans to murder every Jew in the kingdom.
The fixed day of execution, which came to be known as Purim (Lots), was turned from death to deliverance by the intervening providence of God. Haman did not realize that Mordecai's God is always in control of the affairs of earth. Even though "The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD." (Proverbs 16:33).
Following Haman's execution, the king allowed Mordecai to write a new decree giving the Jews the right to defend themselves. "1Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt:"(Esther 9:1-2)
The Book of Esther demonstrates how God uses faithful servants to change world affairs in order to fulfill His Word. In days of peace and prosperity, we are prone to be less concerned about the presence of God. But, when our situation seems critical, we seek His presence, and when He wonderfully intervenes, we praise Him for His merciful protection and provision.
Esther is a testimony to the fact that, even in a secular society dominated by a heathen power, our God can protect His people. But, He expects us, like Esther, to respond courageously in faith to the threats of the Hamans of this world.
The peace and satisfaction enjoyed by Mordecai and Esther can only be experienced by those who share our Lord's compassion for a lost world. Everyone has a right to know how to be saved. Jesus said: "No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me" (John 14:6).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the many blessings you have given me.
Lord, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus Christ, your Son.
Look with compassion on the whole human race.
Take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts.
Break down the walls that separate us and work through our struggles and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth.
In your good time, may all nations and races serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne.
Walk with me, Lord, guide me and lead me into the direction that you have laid out for me.
Bless me with your presence so that I am always walking in your light.
Bless me the strength I need to walk away from the temptations that cause me to sin and fall short of your glory.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body so that I am always focused and motivatied to do your will and not the will of my flesh.
Bless me with positive and optimistic thoughts no matter what obstacle I face.
Bless my family, friends and all I ahve come to know.
Bless those less fotunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wonderful day, full of many unexpected blessings.

A Good Wednesday to you! We are half way there.
"He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation"....Psalm 24:5
In today's lesson we will continue reading from the book of Esther, chapters 4 -- 7.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ester%204-7&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of the
fasting among the Jews, Esther's banquet for Haman and the king, Haman being forced to honor Mordecai, and Haman's execution.
About five years after Esther became queen, Haman was promoted above all the princes that were with him (Esther 3:1-7). When his decree was proclaimed that all Jews would be destroyed, Mordecai urged Esther that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people(4:8).
No one knew that Esther was a Jew because Mordecai had forbidden her to reveal her nationality. Esther was fearful and reminded him that Persian law stated that anyone who approached the king uninvited could be put to death. The risk was real, for she had not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days (4:11).
Esther could easily have reasoned: "If the king has lost interest in me or even discovered that I am a Jew, how could I favorably influence him?" But she believed that the risk of losing her prestigious position, as queen Vashti had done, or even losing her own life, was not as important as doing what she could to save her people.
After three days of fasting, queen Esther stood in the inner court of the king's house (5:1) and waited to see if she would face life or death. The king welcomed her and offered to grant her request. If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him (5:4).
The king accepted and then, at a second banquet, he again asked Esther what her request might be. He was shocked to hear her pleading for her own life: "Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request: For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage." (7:3-4)
"Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so? And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
(7:5-6).
This angered the King; "And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of king's mouth, they covered Haman's face." (7:7-8)
"And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon. So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified." (7:9-10).
Esther is an encouragement to all of us to use whatever talents, position, popularity, or wealth we have been blessed with to tell a lost world that our King gave His life to save them from the eternal torment of hell.
"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My (the Lord Jesus Christ's) sake and the Gospel's, the same shall save it"(Mark 8:35).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for all the blessings you have given me today.
Thank you for the talents that you have blessed me with.
I commit to using them responsibly in your honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint me with projects, ideas, and energy so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you glory.
Lord, when I am confused guide me.
When I am burned out infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit.
May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in contact with today.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body to stay focused and on track throught the day.
Bless me with a positive attitude and motivation no matter what comes my way.
Bless me in the decisions I make, help me to think wisely and to follow your guidance.
Bless me with a prosperous day in all that I do.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others today.

A Good Tuesday to You!
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer".....Psalm 19:14
In today's lesson we will begin reading the book of Esther, chapters 1 -- 3.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ester%201-3&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of how Vashti was removed as queen and Esther is made queen, Mordecai saving the king's life, and Haman's plan to destroy all the Jews.
Hadassah was the Hebrew name for the Jewish orphan whose Persian name was Esther (Star). She was taken to the king's palace along with other maidens, either to be made queen or to become a part of the king's harem.
Esther found herself in a situation over which she had no control. She and her faithful, older cousin Mordecai, could only trust God for direction and protection, who had adopted her: "And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter."(Esther 2:7)
To complicate their situation, the man given the power to enforce the king's commands was the evil and self-serving Haman (3:10,15). Haman was an Amalekite, a descendant of Esau (3:1; also Genesis 36:12; I Samuel 15:2-3, 32-33), who hated all Jews (Deuteronomy 25:17-19).
When Mordecai refused to bow down in reverence (respect) Haman was determined to use his authority to destroy Mordecai and all Jews in the kingdom. "And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence."(Esther 3:2).
Haman's plan was declared law with the king's approval and the lot (Pur) was cast to determine the best day to execute all Jews (3:7-13). However, Mordecai and Esther used every legal means to defend the interests of the people of God, even risking their own well-being.
God expects us to put an effort into resolving our own job and financial problems. However, we should never doubt that God is in ultimate control to protect us, guide us and provide us what we can't do.
God never makes a mistake, is never partial, and never overlooks one of His children. We should not give in to self-pity and defeat but remain faithful and look to the Lord and His Word for guidance and strength. Like Mordecai, we must not bow down to the Hamans of this world who would seek to destroy our loyalty to Christ.
Like Esther, you may feel hopelessly trapped where you are and may long for the time when you would be free to do what you desire. But, Jesus explained the importance of doing your best now with the parable of a man with two talents."He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:22-23)
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with another day.
Thank you for the many blessings you give me each day and a new day to start all over again.
Forgive me Father, for the times when I just gave up and let situations or people control me.
Forgive me for making You sad every time I bowed down and not faught to make things happen the way You intended them to.
On this day I will make every effort to use my talents, my knowledge, and my abilities for your glory.
Walk with me, Lord, guide me and give me the strength and courage to make that effort a reality.
Bless me with your presence in all that I do, for I know I can do anything as long as You are with me.
Teach me to listen for you when you speak and to put You above all things first. For I know that nothing is achieved without putting you first.
Bless me with a healthy mind that thinks positively and motivationally no matter what comes my way.
Bless me with a healthy body to be able to keep using those talents effectively.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and use me to be a blessing to others.
Bless those who do not know you, may all come to know You, Lord.

In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.

A Good Monday to you! I hope your weekend was well and that you were able to relax a little bit at least.
"Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant"....Psalm 135:3
In today's lesson we will finish reading the book of Nehemiah, chapter 13.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Nehemiah%2013&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of the reading of the Law; the separation from the heathen; tithes given, Sabbath-breaking forbidden, and mixed marriages being condemned.
During Nehemiah's absence, the Israelites' worship of God and the Sabbath observance were neglected. Intermarriage with Canaanite idol worshipers was common.
Nehemiah again came to the king "But in all this time was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave (permission)of the king."(Nehemiah 13:6).
He was grieved over the people's disregard of the Law and took firm action to return the nation to God. "On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God for ever" (13:1).
The greatest evils were committed by those who held the highest positions of spiritual leadership. "And before this, Eliashib the priest, having the oversight of the chamber of the house of our God, was allied unto Tobiah (married). "And one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me."(13:4,28). Other priests had also married Canaanite women.
Added to these sins, "And I came to Jerusalem, and understood of the evil that Eliashib did for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God."(13:7). This was not only forbidden by God (Deuteronomy 23:3-4), but Tobiah formerly had opposed Nehemiah's work in rebuilding the walls around Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2:10,19; 4:3-8; 6:17-19).
Nehemiah said: "therefore I cast forth all the household stuff to Tobiah out of the chamber. Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense." (13:8-9)
"And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field. Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place"(13:10-11).
The reason was obvious. The spiritual leaders of Judah had violated the Law by marrying heathen women and, consequently, defiled the priesthood (13:29).
Nehemiah continued his reformation while facing much opposition. "And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves. Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin."(13:25-26).
Like Nehemiah we too can make a difference in our world. He was mightily used of God because he knew the Scriptures and refused to compromise. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."(James 4:7-8).
Nehemiah cleansed the priests and Levites and defined their duties (Nehemiah 13:30). Christ cleanses us from all our sins when we confess them; "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."(I John 1:9). Through Him "ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;" (I Peter 2:9).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for a new beginning and a fresh new start in all that I do.
Thank you for sending your son, Jesus to save us from all our sins.
Thank you for forgiving me and cleansing me every day.
Walk with me, Lord, guide me and be with me in all that I do.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body.
Bless me with a prosperous day in all that I do.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and those who do not know you. May all come to know you, Lord.
Bless out troops and our nations, keep them safe and give them peace through these wars and conflicts.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a wondeful day.

A Good Sunday to you! Many blessings to you on this day that the Lord has made.
"I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications".....Psalm 116:1
In today's lesson we will cintinue reading from the book of Nehemiah, chapters 11 -- 12.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Nehemiah%2011-12&version=9
In Today's Scripture Reading we will learn of the
Residents of Jerusalem, priests and Levites with Zerubbabel, the dedication of the walls, of the Temple offices being restored.
Ordinary people, although not skilled in building walls, had willingly gone to work under Nehemiah's leadership and did the best they could to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem.
Only a minority of the people who left Persia to rebuild Jerusalem actually lived inside the city's walls. Most of the Jews lived in suburbs where they could grow crops, pasture their animals, and make a living more easily. Because of this, there were not enough people living in Jerusalem to maintain and protect it. "And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city"(Nehemiah 11:1).
The Israelites could now assemble within the rebuilt walls of Jerusalem and worship without fear of their enemies. "And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps."(12:27) "Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off."(12:43).
The Israelites' worship demonstrated a heartfelt commitment to the Lord in their renewed relationship to Him. Though all true Christians love the Lord, not all are willing to give up personal interests and financial security to do what is needed to accomplish His purposes.
It is no less important for followers of Christ to consider "the walls" that may need to be rebuilt in their own lives where worldly interests have broken through and devastated their zeal for the Lord.
In our Christian walk, we need to be on guard against anything, including good, wholesome activities, which may cause us to divert either our time or our money from their usefulness to God and from becoming treasures in heaven.
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21).
We all will want to hear our Lord say what the earthly master said in the parable of the talents: "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21).
Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with this day.
Thank you for the many blessings you have given me.
Thank you for standing beside me and guiding me through the good and bad in my life.
Thank you for waiting on me patiently when I have fallen off track and come to my senses to put You first above all things.
I know nothing is achievable or lasting unless you are in my life.
Forgive me for the times that I have sinned and fallen short of achieving what You set me out to do.
I fight with my flesh every day and sometimes my flesh takes control and I become weak and fragile and more vulnerable for satan.
Walk with me Lord, guide me and give me the strength to always follow you, to put your first no matter how I feel, and to always praise you.
Bless me with a healthy mind and body to be able to do the things that you call me to do easier.
Bless me with knowledge and understanding, courage and wisdom, positivity and motivation.
Bless my family, friends, and all I have come to know.
Bless those less fortunate than me and those who do not know you. May all come to know you, Lord.
Bless our nation, bless them with peace and safety through war and suffering.
Bless all who read this message.
In Jesus name, I pray.....Amen.
Have a great day.

A Happy Saturday to you!
God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.....Psalm 67:7
In today's lesson we will continue reading Nehemiah, chapters 9 -- 10.
